Chris is the Director of French Operations for VéloSport Vacations. His extensive cycling background includes racing for 15 years, with 8 years at the national/international level in road and track.
In addition to his racing experience, Chris has been involved in a number of cycling related event productions serving as team liaison and media/VIP host for the Tour de Georgia (2005-2008), media host and commentator at the Tour of Missouri (2008, 2009) and Tour of California (2007), television production staff for the ESPN X-Games (1997), television production staff for the Tour of China (1996), event director for the National Mountain Bike Championships (1993), event director for the National Track Cycling Championships (1993), and operations director for the Tour du Pont (Trump) (1990).
In 2008, he took a break from the vacation business to work as European Operations Director for a professional team based in Spain. Chris has also worked in cycling event announcing and broadcasting for a host of television venues including ESPN and has been a writer for such publications as VeloNews, PezCyclingnews.com and Performance Cycling.
