Over the years, we have had the good fortune to work with some of the most accomplished support people in the world of cycling. From former pro cyclists to Pro Tour soigneurs, their professionalism and good attitudes have been the key to providing fantastic vacations. You’ll find links below to bio information for a select sample.
The actual staff for each program fluctuates with their personal availability and program demand; a definitive list is available before each trip.
Will Frischkorn | After a fulfilling career as a pro cyclist, Will still enjoys riding, especially if it’s part of a program where he can share his lifelong passion for fine food and wine. He is joining us in Provence in 2013, and we hope there will be many happy returns.
Chris Gutowsky | The founder of VSV and a sports-management consultant, Chris has been around the sport since ‘hair nets’ and brings all his passion, history and insights to everything Vélo.
John Gatch | Involved in cycling since a young teen, John has raced road, track and cyclocross at the national level. He has helped produce local, national and international cycling events and worked as a pro-team mechanic in Europe.
Bertrand Siffroy | A national-level triathlete and talented masseur, Bertrand or “BeBe” is the perfect French guide.
Georges Noyes | Over the decades, George has prepared bikes for a long roster of the world’s best teams and professional cyclists. He is now a private consulting mechanic based in Belgium.
Kathy Gutowsky | ‘Woody’ to some of us, Kathy keeps an eye on the website and is an occasional but enthusiastic guide. She has climbed all 3 sides of the Mont Ventoux in one day and is a certified “cinglé.”
